K Real Estate

Terms of Service

The conditions for using K Real Estate: Connect registrations and prohibited conduct, transactions between users, the nature of our information, liability and governing law.

Effective 2026-10-13

These Terms of Service set out the conditions for using the K Real Estate website and app (the "Service") provided by K Real Estate (the "Operator"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. These Terms take effect on 2026-10-13.

Summary The Service is free. Calculations and information are estimates for reference only, not legal, tax or financial advice. K Real Estate is not a licensed real-estate brokerage and does not take part in, or guarantee, the contracts and payments between users who meet on Connect. Users are responsible for the accuracy and legality of what they register.

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms define the rights, obligations and responsibilities of the Operator and users, and other necessary matters, in connection with the use of the Service.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  • Service: all features the Operator provides on the web and in the app under the name K Real Estate, including real-estate information, calculation tools, guides and Connect
  • User: anyone who uses the Service under these Terms
  • Connect: a board that publishes requests from consumers who need help and service listings from providers such as contractors, suppliers, agents and professionals, and lets them exchange connection proposals with suitable counterparts
  • Registration: the request or service information a user enters to publish on Connect
  • Management link: the address issued with a registration, containing a secret token used to view, edit and close that registration

Article 3 (Posting and changes to the Terms)

  1. The Operator posts these Terms on the Service so that users can easily read them.
  2. The Operator may change these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
  3. When the Terms change, the Operator will announce the effective date and reasons on the Service at least 7 days before the change takes effect, or at least 30 days before for changes that are adverse to users.
  4. If you do not agree with the changed Terms, you may stop using the Service. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you accept the change.

Article 4 (What the Service provides)

The Operator provides the following free of charge:

  • Listings and map search (the listings currently shown are sample/demo data)
  • Market price index
  • Calculators: loans (LTV and DSR), acquisition, capital gains and holding taxes, brokerage fees, jeonse safety check, and housing subscription score
  • Government housing support finder, remodeling cost estimator and building material prices
  • Real-estate guides
  • Connect: registration and matching of consumers and providers

The Service is used without sign-up or login. The Operator may display advertising on the Service to support its operation.

Article 5 (Connect registrations and management)

  1. Users may register a consumer request or a provider service on Connect. Registration content (title or business name, description, region, budget or price range, keywords, languages, and any license or business number entered) is public; contact details are shown only to a counterpart whose connection proposal has been accepted.
  2. The management link issued with a registration is the only way to manage it. Because the Operator does not store the link itself, it cannot be reissued. Users must keep it safe and must not share it.
  3. Unless caused by the Operator's intent or negligence, the Operator is not responsible for consequences of a management link being lost or exposed to others. If you lose your link, you can request deletion at (contact email coming soon).
  4. You can close a registration at any time with its management link; closed registrations are removed from public lists and recommendations.
  5. The handling of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

Article 6 (User obligations)

  1. Users are responsible for ensuring that what they register is true, accurate and lawful.
  2. Providers offering work that requires a qualification, license or registration by law (for example, real-estate brokerage, legal services, tax representation or construction) must hold it.
  3. When contacting or dealing with another user, you must verify that person's identity, qualifications and contract terms yourself.

Article 7 (Prohibited conduct)

Users must not:

  • Register false listings or information that is not true
  • Commit fraud or otherwise deceive or harm others, including obtaining money by deception
  • Engage in illegal brokerage, such as unregistered brokerage in violation of the Licensed Real Estate Agents Act
  • Offer or advertise professional services that legally require a qualification or license without holding one
  • Spam, including repeatedly posting advertising without permission
  • Post discriminatory or hateful content based on nationality, race, gender, religion, disability, age or similar grounds
  • Register, collect or use another person's personal data without consent
  • Impersonate others or use another person's management link without authorization
  • Send mass requests by automated means or otherwise interfere with the normal operation of the Service
  • Engage in any other conduct that violates applicable law or public order and morals

Article 8 (Content management and access limits)

  1. If the Operator determines that a registration falls under Article 7 or violates the law, it may suspend or delete the registration without prior notice.
  2. To protect the Service, the Operator may rate-limit or restrict access suspected of abuse.
  3. Anyone whose rights have been infringed or who finds a false or fraudulent registration may report it as described on the Contact page, and the Operator will take the necessary action after checking.
  4. The Operator is not obliged to review every registration in advance.

Article 9 (Transactions between users)

  1. Connect is a board that helps users find each other. The Operator is not a licensed real-estate brokerage and does not broker or act as an agent for contracts between users.
  2. Contracts, payments and the provision of services between users take place directly between the parties; the Operator is not a party to them.
  3. The Operator does not guarantee any provider's qualifications, identity, quality of work or performance of a contract. Any license or business number shown on a registration was entered by the registering user and has not been verified by the Operator.
  4. Disputes between users must be resolved by the parties. The Operator may, however, cooperate with requests from the relevant authorities where required by law.

Article 10 (Nature of the information)

  1. Calculation results, market data, guides, support-program information, estimates and material prices provided by the Service are for reference only and apply publicly available rules and data as of a stated reference date.
  2. Actual taxes, loan limits, construction costs and similar amounts may differ from calculated results depending on personal circumstances, a lender's assessment, site conditions and changes in the law.
  3. Information on the Service is not legal, tax or financial advice. Confirm with the relevant authority or a qualified professional before making an important decision.
  4. The listings are currently sample data for demonstrating the feature and do not represent properties actually available for transaction.

Article 11 (Changes to and suspension of the Service)

  1. The Operator may improve or change the Service and will announce important changes on the Service.
  2. The Operator may temporarily suspend all or part of the Service for maintenance, failures, discontinuation of external services (such as maps or address search) or other unavoidable reasons.
  3. Because the Service is free, the Operator does not provide separate compensation for changes to or suspension of the Service unless applicable law specifically requires it. This does not apply where the Operator acted with intent or gross negligence.

Article 12 (Intellectual property)

  1. Copyright and other intellectual property rights in content created by the Operator — including the design, software, guide articles and calculation logic of the Service — belong to the Operator or the rightful owner. Users may not copy, distribute or commercially exploit them without the Operator's prior permission. Personal, non-commercial use and quotation within a fair scope with attribution are permitted.
  2. Rights in materials provided by third parties, such as maps and public data, belong to each provider, and that provider's terms of use apply.
  3. Rights in a registration belong to the user who registered it. The user grants the Operator a free license to use the registration content (displaying it, showing translations, making it searchable, etc.) to the extent necessary to operate and display the Service. This license ends when the registration is deleted.

Article 13 (Limitation of liability)

  1. To the extent permitted by the laws of the Republic of Korea, the Operator is not liable for:
  2. Decisions users make based on information or calculation results from the Service, and their consequences
  3. Contracts, transactions and disputes between users, or how providers perform their work
  4. The accuracy, legality or reliability of content registered by users
  5. Service disruptions caused by events beyond the Operator's control, such as natural disasters or failures of external services
  6. Notwithstanding the above, the Operator's liability for damage caused by its intent or gross negligence is not limited, and this Article does not apply to the extent it would conflict with the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions or other applicable laws.

Article 14 (Protection of personal data)

The Operator protects users' personal data in accordance with applicable law, as set out in detail in our Privacy Policy.

Article 15 (Governing law and jurisdiction)

  1. These Terms and the use of the Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
  2. Any dispute between the Operator and a user arising from the use of the Service will be brought before the court with jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act of Korea.

Article 16 (Translations)

These Terms are provided in Korean, English, Simplified Chinese and Vietnamese. Translations are for users' convenience only; if a translation differs from the Korean original, the Korean original prevails.
