Safe Payment for Renovation
Pay stage by stage; the contractor is paid only after you confirm. Funds are held by the payment provider (PG).
How it works
- 1After you accept a quote, the expert proposes a contract with stages and amounts.
- 2Agree to it, then pay each stage in order. The provider holds the money.
- 3When the expert reports a stage as done, confirm it. The contractor then receives the amount minus our fee.
- 4If something is wrong, open a dispute. Payment stops and our team mediates a release or refund.

Safe payment rules
- Payments are held by the payment provider (Toss Payments), not by K Real Estate, and only confirmed stages are settled to the contractor.
- The first stage (deposit) can be at most 30% of the total.
- If you neither confirm nor dispute by the deadline shown after a completion report, the stage is confirmed automatically.
- Disputed stages are not paid out until our team mediates: release, full refund or partial refund.
- Safe payment protects when money is released. Workmanship and warranty remain the contractor's responsibility.
